Just a little trivia to start with ... the legend of Valentines Day comes from Italy way back in the third century after Christ when a bishop called Valentine married couples who were forbidden from marrying and as he did so he gave them flowers from his garden hence flowers play an important part in our celebrations we have today. These acts were not liked by the Emperor who also didn't like Valentines faith in Christ so had him beheaded on February 14th 269AD.
